With 23 years of nursing experience across various fields of practice including emergency medicine & intensive care, it was in 2008 working as a plastic surgical nurse, that Freya discovered her true passion with appearance medicine.
Passionate about the cosmetic industry, Freya appreciates that it can seem overwhelming to pursue treatments and thus enjoys educating clients on options that may best suit their individual needs. Services are tailored hence why there is no standard price-list.
Freya believes that everyone should feel the best version of themselves and favors delivering a natural and harmonious approach to facial enhancements.
Her greatest achievements are her two daughters and she enjoys all things outdoors. If not at work, you may find Freya at the gym, mountain biking, drinking coffee at cafes or playing mum taxi to her two teenage daughters.
Ann qualified in 2015 with a Diploma in Beauty therapy Level 5. Her experience includes providing high end relaxation Ann chose to pursue a career in beauty therapy because she really enjoys being able to help people feel better about themselves on the inside and out. As someone who has suffered with skin issues all her life, it is fulfilling to be able to help others with theirs.
Committed to her professional development, Ann is always learning and recognises that this industry is ever-evolving, therefore she likes to keep up to date with the latest advancements in skin treatments. Her passions are all things skin, specifically medical grade treatments to address various skin types and signs of aging. Joining the team has enabled her to grow her expertise. Ann recognises that combining her aesthetic treatments alongside injectables, can help to achieve optimal outcomes as well as provide longer-lasting results.
As a proud mum to three boys and two labradors, life is busy outside of work! When she gets a moment to herself, she enjoys reading as well as spending time with her friends and family.
Haly relocated to New Zealand from the sunshine state of Queensland, Australia in August 2021 with her partner. A couple of months after this, Haly joined the team at Freya Aesthetics and settled in quickly.
In 2020, Haly started a Bachelor of Nursing at QUT in Brisbane, Australia. She didn’t finish these studies, however, from what she had completed, an Undergraduate Certificate in Nursing was gained. Haly has always had a passion for all parts of healthcare, which attracted her to this position at Freya Aesthetics. Combining this with her extensive experience in administration gained over the years after graduating high school, Haly brings a caring as well as knowledgeable presence to Freya Aesthetics.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and loves all things animals, including her two rescue cats Leo & Lola, which many of you may know, were abandoned one day old kittens in Haly’s first week of working at Freya Aesthetics. She took them home and hand raised them, they are now much loved furbaby family members.
